UAE audit guidance

Passive fire protection questions, answered.

The questions facilities managers and technical directors ask most often before a first call.

Still have a question?

Ask it directly.

If your situation is not covered here, a 10-minute introductory call is the fastest way to get a specific, useful answer.

When should we bring Pyroneer in?
The earlier the better, but a focused audit is especially useful before DCD inspections, insurance reviews, renewals, or project handover. We help you see the gaps while there is still time to act on them.
What does an audit leave us with?
The output is a clear, documented view of observed conditions and corrective priorities. Where a detailed report is commissioned, findings are location-specific and supported by evidence to help teams plan the next step.
Do you install or sell fire-stopping materials?
No. Pyroneer is independent from installation and materials sales. Recommendations are made to address the observed risk, not to create a route to a product or installation package.
Can you work as part of our existing consultancy team?
Yes. Sub-consultancy support can be scoped for engineering consultancies and project teams that need specialist passive fire protection input without adding a separate sales relationship.
What is included in a compartmentation survey?
The agreed survey scope can include fire-resisting walls and floors, service penetrations, risers, voids, interfaces, and visible fire stopping. Findings are tied to locations and observed conditions so the project or facilities team can plan the next technical action.
When is a post-build fire stopping inspection useful?
A post-build inspection is useful after M&E, fit-out, data, ventilation, or finishing works may have altered compartment lines or disturbed existing seals. It provides an independent check before handover, occupation, renewal, or a formal inspection.
